Custom Column Naming Setting for Mosaic Models in Mosaic USL
Control how column names from Mosaic models are exposed through the Universal Semantic Layer (USL) to MCP servers and external BI/SQL tools with customizable column naming rules. Modelers can now define column naming conventions at the Mosaic model level for fine-grained control over how columns appear to downstream consumers and applications. Attribute forms and metrics can use aliases from the underlying data source as their USL column names, with intelligent fallbacks to existing naming conventions when aliases are blank, or otherwise unsuitable. This approach preserves compatibility with existing integrations while allowing teams to expose cleaner, more AI-friendly column names to MCP clients and other BI or SQL tools.
