To deliver tailored patient recommendations, Bayer’s field representatives needed access to consistent, governed, real-time insights. But unifying data spread across thousands of sources created a significant challenge—especially as patient needs evolved and providers had to adapt quickly.

Bayer’s data transformation journey
Bayer used Strategy's Universal Semantic Layer to advance its digital transformation and centralize all data sources into a single, governed ecosystem. This unified definitions, aligned KPIs, and gave users access to consistent, reliable insights.
Bayer then migrated to the Strategy Cloud, accelerating data access for its field representatives. Using Strategy’s secure, scalable architecture, the team built a custom mobile app that provided real-time patient insights to the entire field workforce. Designated users could access patient data on tablets and deliver personalized care from anywhere, even offline.
