MicroStrategy and Oracle 9iAS Portal

Easy Integration

MicroStrategy's Portal Integration Kit (a component of the MicroStrategy SDK) assists developers seeking to integrate MicroStrategy Business Intelligence into their Oracle portal. The Portal Integration Kit (PIK) speeds developers' understanding of the basic integration workflow and overall architecture, as well as the usage of MicroStrategy and Oracle API functions. Since the portlet API is different for each portal server, developers make the relevant changes in PIK to make the generic portlets to work with Oracle 9iAS Portal. The MicroStrategy PIK ships with sample source code and documentation to assist developers get the BI component of their portal up and running quickly.

MicroStrategy has joined the Oracle9iAS Partner Initiative Portal Solution Area, and will be adding customized Oracle portlets to the Portal Integration Kit in the near future. This development will enable MicroStrategy to integrate out-of-the-box with Oracle 9iAS Portal, and provide an integrated platform that is a secure and scalable foundation for all portal deployments.
