The MicroStrategy Certified Engineering Principal Program affirms an individual's advanced knowledge of the MicroStrategy platform. Anyone possessing an MCEP certification has demonstrated a level of knowledge which surpasses the rigors of MCE. Individuals attaining MCEP will have profound knowledge of MicroStrategy’s SQL generation engine as well as at least one other specialized area of knowledge. It is the individual’s choice as to which area of specialization is chosen.

How Do I become a MicroStrategy Certified Engineer Professional (MCEP)?
The MCEP certification is attained by attaining 2 focus area certifications after first attaining MCE certification. To attain MCEP one must take the following steps:

  1. Attain MicroStrategy Certified Engineer (MCE) Status
  2. Attain Certified Engine Specialist (CES) Status
  3. Attain any 1 of the following 3 Focus Area Certifications — Narrowcast Developer (CND), Advanced Administrator (CAA), or Enterprise Report (CER).
